Your profile picture is often the first thing potential employers see. It’s your digital first impression, and a clear, professional image helps build trust right away. A good photo signals that you take your work seriously — and that you’re someone they can engage with professionally.

Our basic requirements:

  • Clear, high-quality photo showing your face
  • Professional appearance (business or business casual attire)
  • Clean, uncluttered background (solid color preferred)
  • Only you in the photo (no other people)
  • No logos, text overlays, or filters
  • Good lighting with your face clearly visible
  • JPG, JPEG, or PNG format, max 2MB

What We Require

When you sign up and onboard as talent, we ask for a professional profile picture that clearly shows your face. To keep things simple and high quality, here are the key rules:

  1. Only you in the photo – No other people should be visible. This is your personal profile, not a group shot.
  2. Face must be clearly visible – From forehead to chin, your face should be unobstructed (no sunglasses, hats, heavy shadows, etc.).
  3. Business casual or professional attire – Dress as you would for a job meeting or interview — clean, neat, and appropriate for a professional setting.
  4. Neutral / appropriate background -A plain or softly blurred background helps focus attention on you, not what’s behind you.
  5. Good lighting & clarity – Use natural or soft lighting, avoid harsh shadows, make sure the image isn’t pixelated or blurry.
  6. No filters or heavy edits -You should look like yourself — avoid heavy photo effects, extreme color shifts, or unnatural retouching.

Tips for Taking a Great Profile Photo

  • Choose a well-lit area (natural light is best).
  • Have someone else take the photo if possible — avoid selfies.
  • Stand a bit away from walls or backgrounds (to reduce harsh shadows).
  • Keep your expression friendly and neutral (a slight smile works well).
  • Wear solid or muted colors that contrast reasonably with the background.
  • Use a high-resolution photo so it won’t degrade when resizing.

Why These Rules Are Important

  • Employers want to see who they might hire. A clear, solo headshot helps confirm authenticity.
  • A professional portrait reflects your seriousness about the work you do.
  • Having a uniform standard helps maintain a clean, trustworthy platform.
